What Changes the Wholesale Price of Chinese Dried Noodles?

Understand how product specs, pack format, quantity, documents and shipping basis change a wholesale noodle quotation.

There is no single meaningful “price for Chinese dried noodles” without a specification. Two quotations may look different because the product, packaging, order structure or delivery basis is different.
Product specification
Ingredients, noodle dimensions, portion format, target texture and other requirements define what is being made. A standard catalog SKU may have a different commercial basis from a customized product. Compare products only after the codes and specifications are clear.
Net weight and packing structure
Price per bag is not comparable when bag sizes differ. Record net weight per saleable unit, units per carton, total food weight, carton dimensions and gross weight. Convert quotations to common measures such as price per kilogram and price per retail unit, while preserving pack differences.
Existing packaging or private label
Standard packaging, applied labels, printed pouches, inner boxes and custom master cartons involve different materials and setup. Artwork revisions and multiple pack versions can add work. Ask the supplier to separate product and packaging assumptions where possible.
Quantity by SKU
Production and packaging are planned by SKU, not only by total order value. A shipment divided among many low-volume items may price differently from one concentrated product. Provide both trial quantity and expected repeat quantity by SKU.
Documents and testing
Destination-specific labels, documents or additional tests can affect timing and cost. State the country and required evidence early. Do not assume every certificate, analysis or test is automatically included.
Delivery term and freight date
EXW, FOB, CIF and other quotation bases cover different responsibilities. Freight estimates also change over time. Compare suppliers using the same named place, Incoterm, currency and date.
How to request a useful price
Send a compact RFQ with product code or target specification, pack format, quantity by SKU, destination, delivery term, private label needs and required documents. Ask the supplier to list exclusions and validity.
FAQ
Why is the carton price not enough?
Cartons can contain different net weights and pack counts. Compare equivalent commercial units.
Does a larger total order always reduce price?
Not automatically. SKU split, packaging and production requirements matter. Request a project-specific quotation.
Can a website show a fixed wholesale price?
Only for a tightly defined offer. Most B2B projects require confirmation of specification, quantity and delivery basis.
